Founder, Lead PhysicianDr. Mercedes graduated magna cum laude from USF and earned her medical degree from the USF College of Medicine. Her residency, conducted at Morton Plant through USF, was complemented by specialized training in nutrition, weight loss, and rejuvenation at the Pritikin Longevity Center. Her practice centers on Preventive and Aesthetic Medicine.
Dr. Mercedes's research on weight loss and nutrition has been published in prestigious medical journals. She has been honored with awards from the American Heart Association and the Florida Academy of Family Practitioners.
Her personal journey is as inspiring as her professional achievements. Despite dropping out of school at 16, she built a successful career in insurance and real estate. At 32, she discovered her passion for medicine and pursued a medical degree. Overcoming significant weight challenges—despite being only 5 feet tall, she once wore a size 22 dress—she now maintains a 70-plus pound weight loss using methods she shares with her patients to help them achieve their own weight loss goals.

ProviderNathalie Toro PA-C graduated with her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at South University. Nathalie's comprehensive educational background was honed through clinical rotations in various specialties, including Dermatology, Women’s Health, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Surgery. Nathalie is licensed by the Florida Board of Medicine and remains committed to ensuring excellence in her practice.
She is an active member of professional organizations such as the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, reflecting her ongoing dedication to professional development and excellence in healthcare practice.
Nathalie excels in a diverse array of clinical procedures, she holds certifications in bio-identical hormone replacement pellet insertion procedures, neurotoxin and dermal filler applications, and cadaver anatomy.
Nathalie is passionate about enhancing patients' health, quality of life, and self-perception. She is dedicated to facilitating patient comprehension of medical information and encouraging active participation in their healthcare decisions.
